Starting therapy can bring up a lot and it is natural to be unsure how to start. I provide weekly 45-minute therapy sessions where we will spend time exploring what is bringing you to therapy and develop an understanding of your goals. My work is very client-driven and we will always go at whatever pace feels comfortable. While I will ask questions to guide us, the session is largely driven by what each client wants to discuss.

I am an out-of-network provider and I provide monthly superbills for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement through insurance. It is important to me to be able to provide the best care for my clients, and many insurance carriers place limitations on the type and length of therapy - without taking into consideration the client’s needs.
Below are three helpful questions to ask your insurance to check your out-of-network benefits:
Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits?
What is my out-of-network deductible (if any) and has it been met by other medical expenses?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

Collaborative, compassionate, and authentic. I am an active participant in the room - asking questions, offering reflections, and at times infusing a little humor to lighten the mood (when appropriate). I believe in the power of therapy to make lasting change, and I seek to make it as approachable as possible!
